This is a round trip hike from First Water TH to Canyon Lake Restaurant and back. Total mileage RT is 15.1 miles. It's an easy 15 miler although one racks up plenty ups and downs (2827 ft in total).

It was a bitter sweet hike in memory of my buddy gpsjoe. Joe loved this hike having the caveat of a good lunch waiting at the half way mark. We miss you!

The benefit of hiking this trek on a Friday is encountering few people until you get close to Canyon Lake. As always, the Fish Fry was really tasty (but a tad pricey).
