After an Upper Salome trip fell thru, I was looking for a quick backup trip and two of my canyoneering gal friends had yet to experience this absolute gem of a canyon so I tagged along with them and showed them the ropes.

The water was as cold as usual while the flow was about a third of what is was back in January after some snow flashmelting. Like usual, we were cold after romping thru the upper narrows going down a few rappels & slides so we found a sunny ledge to warm back up. Followed quickly by the next two big 50 & 80ft amAZing waterfall rappels. Dropped the gear under the waterfall like usual and made the slowly shrinking exit hike back up to the rim on this warm afternoon. :sweat:

Def one of the best short & super sweet (just how I like em' :lol:

) canyons in this amAZing state yet not too difficult for bringing newer canyoneers. :GB:
