Took a mini-vacation from work (flex days for a previous weekend worked), which meant I still went into work anyway and managed to get out of town around 2pm. This means my original backpacking plans weren't going to work out, but I still needed something. I decided the Parker Canyon cliffs west of hwy 288 would be a good place to camp and observe some sweet monsoon weather, so that where I headed. Not much else to report except that I slept in the back of my car and ran around all evening and the following morning chasing clouds. Was a good time, and now I get to return to work.
