| partners | | The more I go to this area, the more I like it. We made our way out on the Moody Point Trail past Moody Point out near the junction with Trail 128. We weren't sure if we got past the junction or not because we didn't see the trail marker, but decided to turn back since it seemed like we went far enough. Once we got back to the junction with the Rim Trail, we took that to the Carr TH and took FR487 to the Moody TH.
The weather was cool most of the morning due to the cloud cover and lasted until we had to make our way back uphill. The Rim Trail wasn't too bad and the weather remained cool on our way back. The canyon view along the Rim Trail was pretty nice. Got some nice views of Devils Chasm from Moody Point, also. Fun time hiking with Joe and John. |
