| partners | | This was North Kiabab to Bright Angel.I was going to do OBA but the boys said from the sound of my crying yesterday I better stick to North Kiabab.Maybe some day I'll see OBA but I really enjoyed going the North Kiabab route. Thanks to Wally and Bruce for joining me and Joe and Dave for understanding. The views going this way are awesome too.Wally kept just the right pace.We made good time but still took time to take in the views and enjoy the Canyon. My pictures do not do this hike justice. The creek, along with the Canyon walls and views just create a certain feeling a pic does not capture.Roaring Springs and Ribbon Falls aren't so bad either.Bright Angel creek was pretty clear until mean ol Phantom creek joined it with it's muddy self. From there to the Colorado it wa Mud-dy.The spaced out breaks and water stops(less to carry) made this an awesome hike. Thanks to the Boys for an awesome weekend that I won't soon forget! |
