| partners | | Ahh,another section of the Arizona Trail. This section starts by Parker Canyon Lake.(Pretty little Lake)There are some burned trees in the first mile or so from this years wildfires. It was still a pretty green area with lots of wildflowers. It was VERY HUMID and our sweat was running as much as the creeks.Lots of rolling grassy hills,Juniper,Manzanita,Pine,Ocotillo,Cacti, and wildflowers. There was also plenty of creeks running.I saw my first kingsnake! Very cool! Of course lots of great conversation with the boys(when I could catch up )The clouds built up all morning and we could see rain comming down in the distance. We were also serenaded with a pretty nice thunderstorm. The rain missed us except for a couple drops back at the car. Thanks for driving Nick Thanks boys, for another great outing!
On a seperate note: We meet a DPS officer while we sat in traffic and I hope his attitude is an exception and not the rule for Tucson DPS officers! |
