I do this hike every Fall as my favorite Aspen Glow foliage hike. Last year on the 13th, a little pre-peak. This year, the 17th seem to hit the jack pot. Colors and leaves were, if not peak, maybe slightly post peak. Add that the sky was blue blue blue and this might have been the best I have ever seen Kachina. The pics do not do justice on how brilliant the yellows were against the blue sky. I threw in some pics from Aspen Corner, since that was also at peak. If you can get to Snowbowl now, please go - the colors are worth no matter how long a drive! I also did Lamar Haines Loop (Veit Springs) as a warm up and to check out the colors at the lower elevation. It was super Peak!
