I hitched a ride with John (Chapman) and we cruised up to Snowbowl, hitting the trail at 8:30 am. We met the rest of the HAZ crew at the turnoff for the bomber wreck and continued up the extremely crowded trail. The winds grew strong at the saddle, and only got worse the higher we went, eventually becoming a sustained blast in (I'm guessing) the 60 mph range.

Atop the peak, we found shelter from the wind on the eastern side of the summit, and got to enjoy lunch with an amazing view. We struggled to remain upright upon departing the summit; the wind nearly beating me several times. The descent saw the HAZ crew spreading out, each of us traveling at our own pace. After the hike, John and I drove back to Prescott, and enjoyed a fine dinner at Prescott Brewing Company.

It was great to meet and hike with all of you!
