| no partners | | | Started at the upper trailhead and hiked down-canyon for approx. 1 mile. Amazing color, although the storms on the week of the 23rd seemed to have stripped about half the leaves off the trees, leaving an incredible carpet of colors. Most of the red leaves still on the trees have a bit of brown on them, while the aspens visible from 651 approaching the trailhead are still in the process of turning. |
