Got an early start up the Icehouse Canyon trail. Once up top I went up to Signal Peak then to Pinal Peak and back down Six Shooter to the CCC recreation area and back to where I parked. The rec area doesn't open until sunrise. I had forgotten how nice a hiking area this is. Only saw four hikers (in one group) all day, and only had one vehicle drive by while traversing the roads on top. Saw water in a few spots, but it is still pretty dry. Nothing coming out of the side pipe at Ferndell spring.
