Another pretty tough hike with the old man. I knew the ruin would be great, but the chasm itself was very neat. I couldn't believe how lush it was!

We had no trouble reaching the trailhead in a 2WD pickup. Watch out for cattle near the ranches; a steer darted out in front of the truck on the way out.
