After we finished with Walnut Canyon, I took the dirt road over NW to the trailhead for the AZT and did a few more miles along that to get some more activity in. It was pretty easy to hike and not all that extremely interesting, but it was nice to hike thru the pines in some cooler weather. I think being so close to dinner and not having much left in the way of snacks made this one go a little longer than is should have. We took the trail to where it begins to descend into Walnut Canyon west of the NPS NM.

Afterwards we checked into the hotel and got a nice dinner at the Beaver Street Brewery in Flagstaff. Fantastic way to start the summer :D .
