Walking east from Ellsworth Road, in just a couple miles three of the Five Cs were represented, as I passed a Citrus orchard, Cotton fields, and alfalfa fields (for Cattle). A nursery on the south side of the road displayed vibrant Bougainvilleas, and another nursery on the north side showed off some impressive cactus specimens in the right of way. As a bonus, a good portion of the walk offered a great view of the Superstition ridge line, and I spent most of the morning wishing I was up there hiking it. |
