| partners | | 28 hours. Another fantastic overnight in the wilderness.
Except for the poison ivy. Again.
Fauna highlights:
2 deer frolicking in the creek
2 bighorn sheep prancing on the hillsides above Horse Camp canyon
2 bright red Arizona Cardinals (the kind that can score)
1 majestic great blue heron (probably the same guy in Bruce's photoset)
1 huge soaring Zone-tailed hawk (90% sure)
Bunch of frogs, including a couple of dead floaters.
No lions this time
It was a great overnight with some good peoples. Water was flowing nicely in Booger, but I didn't get to explore it as much as I'd like to. Next time. Also will investigate Hell's Half Acre a bit more. It looks like a real gem up there! |
