We made good time along the way to our camp spot. On the way we ran into 2 snakes. a great blue heron and deer.
The canyon was very busy we bumped into several other hikers and backpackers. We were a little worried our usual camp spot in the Horse camp area would be taken but it was waiting for us stocked with firewood also.
We set up camp did some exploring around the horse camp area and then settled in for the night.
The next day we broke camp around 1030 and headed home. It was another great trip in the books for us. |
