We started at Picketpost and hiked to the last small saddle before the trail crossed Telegraph Canyon Road where stopped for our lunch break before heading back.

There was quite a chill in the air when we began but within a mile we shed one layer. But from then on it never did warm up, staying quite brisk the whole trip.

It was uneventful with the exception of meeting or being passed by 15 mountain bikers, with 12 passing us in both directions.

The air was so clear after the rain so it was great weather for photos... and so I managed to take way too many Pickpost photos, so for once I'll actually delete a few. But even then, when I post the photoset be forewarned it will appear to be a Picketpost Gallery of photos.
