Earl and I parked at Carney Springs parking lot just after 10:00. Headed up to saddle and had a snack before heading towards Superstition Peak. It was our goal to get there for lunch, but a 2 hour late start, my slow pace, and the wind chill as we ascended caused us to turn around just at the horizontal section that wraps around the side of the mountain before heading up to High Top. Went back down to the water and had a nice lunch in the sun and out of the wind.
