We headed out, NOBO on a nice sunny morning, opting to do Passage 5 because Passage 4 looked awfully wet. Good tread and easy to follow trail. As the day went on, we encountered a sprinkle or 2, but nothing worth putting gear on for. That is, until the end of the day. We were trying out new electronics on this trip. The route tracker told us we were at the end of the passage although the mileage tracker said we had a mile+ to go. We debated, then turned off the trail. Didn't go too far when I realized that we were not in the valley that would take us to our car. Opted to go on since we could see houses in the distance. Well, the FR we were on swung south and took us into rain and way away from our vehicle. ](*,)

Thanks to some Good Samaritans, we were able to hitch a ride just as it got dark and they took us right to our vehicle! :y:

Good for a laugh anyhow!
