It was a nice day for exploring so I crossed the dry Garden and ascended the Black Mesa on the opposite (East) side. The views from up here are very nice and it doesn't appear as if too many hikers take the time to go up and enjoy them.
I offered a quick reminder that these are not for removal, then it was back on the trail to the parking lot.
