| no partners | | We drove in by way of Universal Ranch Road near Arivaca heading basically east then a bit south. Believe we parked near Jalisco Canyon. Approached the peak from the north. Near the top I blew out my right calf muscle (just got to love that tearing feeling). I continued on to the peak and hobbled my way back to the vehicles. Except for the leg issue, I remember it being a neat hike in a remote area. Distance and elevation numbers are estimates. Some of us stopped at the Sourdough Bakery in Arivaca after the hike...it was a really popular place back then.  |
