Went on a day hike rather than trying to fight our way upstream on the canoes. Totally glad we did, too, as this is a gem of a canyon for hiking. It was a busy day, but we still had a very nice wilderness experience.

We intended to go up White Canyon and come down Petroglyph canyon, but we didn't find the other trail easily and with little water or food on a hot day we played it safe and went back the way we came.
