| no partners | | Next week I am planning on doing GET 8 as a day hike. I have been told it is a rough one and that it won't be easy. With that information I set out to do a little recon and place a water cache. I hiked up to Reef Tank and put a half a gallon there. It will be about 29 miles into the hike. The total hike is 37.9 miles and just under 40 if I go all the way to Turkey Creek where I will be car camping.
Thanks in advance to Pam (Outdoor Lover) for assisting with the shuttle on this one next week.
As a side note those Santa Teresa Mountains look mighty tasty. Anyone been up top? Pinnacle Ridge in particular caught my eye. |
