| no partners | | | Sam & I hiked this trail out & back from Iron Springs Road to Thumb Butte Road. It began with a very gradual downgrade on the old SFP&P rail bed. After that there were ups and downs through the forest. There is trail rerouting work going one currently (5/24/13) on the southern most 1.5 miles. As a result there are new trails breaking off which are currently unsigned. We kept to the newer looking trails and did get to the end without getting lost. There looks to be one more section being built and then it will probably get signs. |
