Hiked this trail in order to create a single track for it and to take notes for posting a description. My wife dropped me off on Dove Valley Road next to the new trail head construction area and I bushwhacked (easy) to the beginning of the trail - about .5 miles. It was overcast so wasn't to warm. There were a lot of trail users this Memorial Day. I counted 1 jogger, 4 horse people, 15 hikers going in the opposite direction to me and numerous mountain bikers.
