This was a new hike for me and not described on HikeAZ so I thought I'd do it and post it. Fountain Hills is all the way across the valley from my home so I don't usually hike there. I saw a post on the Arizona Hiking facebook group on this hike so I decided to give it a try. It was worth the trip in my opinion. Some elevation gain, some views, a new area to explore. Great!!! Eagle Ridge Drive was open; past construction has been completed. Quite a few cars in the parking lot as there are a number of other trails accessed by this trailhead that are popular.
