Went on a short hike up the Tom's Thumb trail after the heavy rainstorms on the day before. The wet trail was in great shape and the usual loose ball bearing-like granite gravel was packed into the damp ground vastly improving the traction. The patches of sunlight streaming through holes in the remaining storm clouds made for some photo opportunities. I've already posted too many pics of the thumb so concentrated on some of the other views.

Encountered a young woman (Kim) on the trail struggling to make it back down the long steep grade with an injured knee - a strain of some sort, not a falling injury. Offered to let her use my trekking poles and she jumped (not literally) at the offer.
