The energy that this place expels from its landscape is something that can make any human feel special. We started our hike at around 1130AM on saturday and it lasted around 5 hours taking as many opportunities to stop and just take shot after shot after shot with the camera. During most of the hike we had a nice breeze with strong intermittent gusts. The high was around 55, during our lunch we picked a spot along the trail behind some rocks in which we had a clear view down the canyon and Cochise head down the distance. Sometime towards the end we got hit with a minute amount of snow that lasted for about 10 minutes. We spent the night camping at the Bonita Canyon campgrounds, and it was full to capacity with people with RVs..... which are not my crowd at all. Despite that my friends Elliot, Steph and Neil had a great night conversating about the sheer beauty of this place. |
