| no partners | | My Marin-O-Rama continues. I picked a bad day to wear shorts and a t-shirt. Temp was 53 when I started at 1 p.m. and was 43 when I finished. Throw in a 30-knot wind and lots of mist, and I still feel cold 4 hours later. Wildlife consisted of a single banana slug. I was surprised at how many large redwoods are here. This trail (actually a fire road) is popular with mountain bikers. The mist whipping through the trees was pretty cool, and I managed to get a few videos. I'll write a full hike description after I complete the northern 2/3 of this trail. |
