I joined Denny and Wally, "I'm out of the Supes Frack" for something close to the Valley, but moderate in temperature. This hike gets billed as a workout hike because its 7.5 miles of a steady 4000' gain. It is on an old road that is used by bicycles, ATV's, and an occasional Jeep.

But this hike really delivers on the views both on the way up and at the top. Is there another viewpoint in Arizona where you can see four lakes?

Highlights for the day were:
- A juvenile Black? Rattlesnake that was sunning right next to where I was placing my cache.
- Three White Tails on the way up and
- the best... we were asked if we'd like to come up to the top of the tower! This tower has been notorious in the past for not allowing guests up. Rob, the Tower attendant has been manning this tower for the last 8 years. We were down below, unsuccessfully trying to find the summit marker when his wife came out of the their trailer to ask us if we'd like to go up.

A short video of the tower tour and Osborn Fire Finder explanation :next: http://youtu.be/qZx2AoyxOmg

AEG was adjusted 102' for the Climb to the top of the tower...

Good hike gents and THANKs to Wally for driving!

(No Chilly Dogs were consumed by me on this day)
