| no partners | | Another solo adventure for me. Even the drive is an adventure. I couldn't make it to the actual trailhead as the road recently had dirt added which made gripping almost impossible in a 2-wheel drive Ford Ranger up the steep sections just before reaching the trailhead. So I parked on the road and added distance to my hike.
The ruins are worth checking out at least once. This was a pleasant hike. I detoured to check the grave of old man Reavis before heading to the ruins. The ruins are really cool. I was impressed with the roofing construction. It's to bad some idiots decide to walk on the roof. It won't last another 600 years... oh well....
