| partners | | Lee and I have been talking about this for months! Finally we decided to put the effort in and drive 6 hours each way to bag this unnamed "peak" that doubles as the highpoint of Greenlee County. Wow! What an amazing place. I thought I would have to place a new register, but apparently other people have made this trek before us. Not a lot mind you, but a handful every year. Which makes some sense given the extreme mileage and elevation gain involved!
Flip flops and a beer were foot and hand attire so it's that kind of trip. Though with all the deadfall, real shoes probably would have been a better option. |
