On the way to our Trout Creek adventure, Joel and I took advantage of a planned overnight to break up the insane drive and spent a couple of hours before dark exploring the fascinating geology of the White Cliffs area of the Aquarius Mountains. We wandered up the trickling perennial Ash Creek, in search for Upper Live Water Spring. Once we found it, we split up and wandered around and discovered different things along the way back to camp. This area is just amazing to me. I could spend days here.
