| no partners | | This is a great hike! Well, except for the road and towers at the top, but I had hiked up via the other trail a couple of times, so I knew what to expect.
I didn't get rained on, views were great. A bit too many people on top for my taste, most of them working up there. Went to the top of the fire tower, talked to the lookout guy.
Podiatric report: My feet hurt on the way down. I took Ibuprofen twice during the hike. I took off my boots when I rested. Part of the problem was that I was in a hurry because I thought I might have to work this afternoon, so I really pounded down that hill. Turned out I didn't have to work. |
