| no partners | | Before leaving Bluff, we made our last UT stop at the Sand Island Petroglyph Panel. I wasn't aware that it was so big or had so many images. I haven't found many kokopellis in the wild, but the multitude of them here makes up for it. Some of the animal images remind me of the Procession Panel, which a determined viewer could probably reach in the same day.
There are some duplicate coverage in these pics, but we were trying to emphasize various things and I gave up trying to choose.
If we weren't leaving, we probably would have spent another hour or two looking at this spectacular array of glyphs. |
