After finding the petroglyphs two weeks ago I knew I would return and look for more stuff. This trip I hiked in from the Dutchman trail and did some off trail exploring. I took the ridge to the summit of Yellow Peak. The area on top is really nice and larger than it appears from below. I hiked down to the north checked out the cliff bands on the way up to Second Water Canyon. My exit route was west across Black Mesa then back to the trail and out the Dutchman trail. The humidity was high today so while the temperature wasn't that high it was a hot stroll out.
