I intended to do this in full to Wasson, both yesterday when it was warmer and then this afternoon, but it was chilly, I started late, and it was overall a fairly dull hike. Partly, I think this becuase it was so chilly and windy, but also because I couldn't see much while walking into the sun. I made the saddle junction with the Kings Canyon Trail, and with an hour of daylight left, I turned back. I did enjoy a nice sunset on the Catalinas, and was horribly traumatized to see a rattle snake.
