| partners | | 2014 Reavis Apple report... bumper crop!
Heading up the Gap trail it looked very dry. Shocked to see every apple tree loaded down to the ground with apples galore.
The summer time treat of wildflowers is nowhere to be found.
Reavis Gap Trail #117
Tread is still in decent condition. Not much overgrowth of concern.
Campaign Trail #256
Seemed par for course. Hint of route finding in the creek once or twice. Not really a bushwhack, more of a brush push for several miles. catclaw in the lower portion is twist and dodge avoidable for the most part. Three medium scratches, so I fared okay in shorts.
Still love this loop. A great hike anytime of the year when it isn't freezing.
jj really liked Bruce's idea of naming HAZ Tracks... Route Scout. In addition, speech dyslexia today created an interesting name for an app... Snoto Fap!
Took 4 quarts frozen solid, used 3. |

| | Not much, enough to filter in a pinch. Ten gallons drying up quick. I'd imagine from a recent storm. | | _____________________
