A couple weeks ago I went to Bassett to see the fall colors. That trip was premature. This time Dave and I went and it was much better, but certainly not the best I have seen. I think this year the trees are confused by the warm weather followed by a couple cold spurts and then warm again.

Either way we had a nice hike and Dave had his first trip up to the summit of Bassett. He also had a chance to see the plane wreck which is always a site to see.

Next time when we have more time we are going to hit Kennedy Peak.
