Great day to see some fall colors just as it's winding down for the season. JJ drove us in, took his Jeep farther down that road that road than anyone else! Impressive (Jeeps are awesome). Several cars out there today, people taking pictures of fall colors. On the way in, heading down the dirt road, we were surprised to see a couple dozen antelope running just off the road. Quite a sight.

Surprised to see on this trail a tree suspended in mid-air, the trunk was gone but other trees were holding this bad boy up. If you've been on this trail, you know the tree I'm talking about. Did a double take at first, crazy. Mostly everything in here that is turning color is maple, but the whole spectrum...green, yellow, orange, red, brown.

Views from the peak were great, cool to stand between Graham and its observatory on one side, and the Catalinas on the other. Nice views of Dos Cabezas, Babo in the distance, along with several others. Beautiful day, couldn't have been more perfect.

On the way down, I talked JJ into seeing the WWII plane wreck. Boy that thing was shredded. About a 300 foot very quick, sharp descent off the Bassett Trail, steep enough for me to just get on my butt and basically slide down. :D

If we had had a little more time, we could have hit Kennedy too, just didn't have quite enough time. Really would love to do the East and West Divides out here.

Headed back out, got some Mexican in Willcox and called it a day. Thanks JJ!
