Got to TH around 9 ish to temps in mid 30s. Decided to check out the extension of Latigo trail to whiskey bottle and add on turpentine . Not many people initially. Saw a family of Harris hawks on turpentine looking to hunt. Exciting to watch. Them took black hill back to dixileta. Saw lots of dogs with their owners on dixileta . Came back on Latigo. I think latigo trail is more scenic connection between the two THs. Bikers are using it heavily. Lots of people on trails as I am finishing but temps are still in low 40s. Overall a very good hike.
