| no partners | | | We had planned to get to the park by 5, but a work-related issue kept Eloise and I from getting there until after 6. Needless to say, most of the birds were tucked in for the night, leaving only a few ducks to waddle and float about. Numerous bird calls were heard, but none that I recognized (I'm very new to this). A half dozen turtles were evident in the front pond. The air cooled down considerably near sunset as the breeze strengthened. We enjoyed the sunset as we finished off sandwiches we had gotten from Fortunato's Italian Deli on the way to the park. |
