My girlfriend and I hit the trail around 10am. Her first time on Peralta, and she really enjoyed it. The parking lot was completely full and we had to park in the overflow lot a quarter mile back. Weather was very nice, with some intermittent cloud cover and a nice breeze most of the time. The crowds were definitely out today though. We kept going to the lone pine overlook. Thankfully there were only a couple other people there. We hung out there for a while and enjoyed the nice chilly breeze before heading back. Lizards were all over the place on our way back. Despite the crowds it was a great day to be out there.
