Decided to investigate this route up Larson Ridge. It's very steep but also very well traveled. It is a single traverse with the only switchbacks quick 5-foot sections to get around small ledges. If you carry a pack down this route, hiking poles would be helpful on the descent.

The last half mile of road is impassable, so the hike begins at the high-point of the ridge. Great views straight down to the creek 800 feet below. Pay attention to the cairns for the where the route drops off the ridge and begins the traverse down the west side of the ridge.
