A last minute decision to visit this area for the first time this year and it turned out to be a pretty good choice. Somehow I'm surprised that Eagle hadn't been in here before and was glad to assist his lagging pursuit of lifetime uniques. I was surprised we encountered only one other person all day. For all the nice spots to camp, none were occupied. Long Tom and Slim Jim toyed with us a bit but we decided to skip their shenanigans this time. We had several hawk sightings, some deer, and what I thought sounded like an elk, but Bruce wasn't so sure. Poops from deer, elk, bear, kitty, and the typical smaller mammals. Plus enough PI to film an entire season of Magnum.
