Did a three day backpacking trip in Flagstaff before heading out to hike the John Muir Trail in California. Started at Shultz tank TH and ended at a FR. we set up a long shuttle on saturday morning, hiked along the meadows along the San Francisco peaks, passing through the Snow Bowl Rd on day one. Weather was nice most of the day satuday but quickly turned rainy the first night, hiked around 14 easy miles. Second night hiked 12 and a rather boring 10 miles on a boring Forest Road section on monday before getting to the cars.
