Extended my business trip to Colo. Springs through Saturday so I could get out and hit a bit of the trails in the area. Settled on the Incline as one of the iconic trails in the area. It's like a one mile stair-climber. Nearly 2,000 aeg in 1 mile. I would not have wanted to be the guy taking rail cars down the Incline back in the day--not sure I could have that much faith in the breaking system ....

Great work out, great views, and beautiful weather. At the top, we took the connector over to the Barr Trail for a more leisurely descent.

I'll be back next summer to continue on to Pike's Peak!
