| partners | | | Incredible backpacking trip, and one I want to repeat this year. Snow made it an extra challenge. I'm not a fan of Barnhardt between Big Kahuna and the Divide - it just seems to go on forever, plus that's where most of the snow and brush resides right now. Otherwise, the hike was exceedingly pleasant, perfect campsite, and obviously the main attraction spilling into Deadman Canyon was awesome. Some slow creep from the tripod plate not being screwed tightly enough on my camera resulted in some photos being less than optimal sharpness. Bummer after all the work to get there, but it gives me a reason to go back. |
