Got a little bit of a late start, arriving at Mining Camp just before 9:00. There were a few hikers below the Basin but after that I had the climb to myself except for a couple people coming down. Legs were feeling pretty heavy again but managed to top-out above the wall right on two hours. Took the horseshoe trail around to the southside of Flatiron and let my pack dry in the sun.

The wind was up too which meant my favorite birds were zooming around! Got some great fly-bys today! Spent an hour just watching them go by! Before heading down I climbed the ridge directly east of Flatiron just to poke around up by the hoodoos. Saw some people going up and got passed by a few going down, but traffic on the trail was still very light.
