The plan was to hike Flatiron but when I exited at Idaho Rd. I could barely see the mountains! By the time I got to Mining Camp at 11:00 I needed the wipers for a heavy drizzle. There weren't many people heading up but quite a few coming down. Someone said they saw snow flurries on top! The Basin was completely wet so I decided to call off the ascent.

Coming down I noticed some caves high up on the cliffs up above Palmer Mine area. I went off-trail up to the cliff base to investigate. Turned out to be pretty cool with a whole new perspective of Siphon Draw!
