A fun day trying to keep up with Linda in more new territory for me! The weather was perfect and the trails were empty (until wear got near the spring).

Climbing up Promontory Butte was a good challenge! Of course as soon as we got up the wind started howling, so we didn't stay long! But what a view! Going back down wasn't as bad as we thought it would be on the steep, loose, pine-needle-covered trail, so pretty soon we were off to the spring.

What a cool spot! You can't go wrong with water gushing out from under a pile of boulders to form a beautiful creek! We enjoyed the hike back, stopping to take pictures along the way of course! Thanks Linda for driving and being tour guide again!!
